The Panasonic AG-HVX200A (HVX200) is a revolutionary HD camcorder that records DVCPRO HD, DVCPRO50 and 60i DV or 24p video to Panasonic's state of the art P2 flash memory cards. This hand-held camcorder provides 1080i and 720p HD recording with the proven image quality of industry standard DVCPRO HD. Like the Varicam, the HVX200A can record in 720P variable frame rates of 12, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 30, 32, 36, 48, and 60 frames per second. The HVX200A is an improvement over the original HVX200. A new progressive CCD allows the HVX200A greater sensitivity in low light situations by 2/3 of a stop, with less noise and smearing.
